    Default Hosting (Network Solutions)

Has anyone hosted AspDotNetStorefront with Network Solutions? We are looking at their solution to host our site but would like to know if anyone else has had success with them.

    Thank You

We've had issues at network solutions (and other similar providers) in the past. The main issue is that often times hosting companies that rely on high volume put a thousand (or thousands) of sites on a single server, don't allocate enough memory in the application pool, run in ultra-restrictive custom trust levels that break many .NET apps, and their policies are completely rigid so there is no way to resolve issues if you run into one.

With netsol in particular, I checked their hosting packages and they DO offer Windows based hosting, however they don't say anything (at least without digging) as to whether .NET 3.5SP1 is supported, whether you can get a SQL DB, what their trust level is, the size of the app pool, and so on.

I used to host with Network Solutions but their customer service and turnaround time is horrendous. We're using Server Intellect for our ASDNSF hosting, and other than some set up hiccups, couldn't be happier.
