    Default Test System Questions

    Hi,

    We have a newly installed server to be used as a test bed and for development work.

    What is the best way to get copies of our production aspdnsf databases and import them to the test server?

    Basically, I would like regular periodic updates of the test system using the latest production data and would like to make it as automatic as possible.

    Anyone doing anything like this? Is there any documentation available? We have 15 sites currently stuck on version 7.0.1 and this is part of work being done to be able to upgrade in the future.

    I would think setting up sql replication or something along that lines would be the best idea for this sort of task. Though I personally don't have the details I am sure you could find something on how to set something like this up.
