    From the FAQ:

    Q. Does your software make any calls to your server?

    A. The purchased version makes one call to our server on application start. You can remove this call by executing our source code licensing agreement, and removing that call, if you desire. We do this only to combat fraud, and no honest customrs have anything to worry about here, and that call can be removed very easily when properly licensed.
    Where is this call?
    I have not been able to find it.
    Using ASPDotNetStoreFront since Version 3
    Got Version 9.
    Almost ready to deploy MultiStore (final testing stages for the new FirstData gateway)
    Finally upgraded our server to 2008 R2.

    In versions 8.0+ that call is no longer there
