    We have set up a wholesale only site.
    Is there a way to allow users to register but not give them access until an admin approves the customer?

    If you set the site to wholesale only and then map all of your products to a customer level and turn on customer level filtering (but DO NOT set a default customer level) this will work.

    Customers can view the site and register, but until an admin manually puts them in a customer level they won't see anything.
