Thread: Integrate with Sage 50

Hi has anybody managed to connect ML to Sage 50? I really would like to talk to somebody about this.

We run ML 8.0.1.2 and Sage MMS 3.5.26 and Sage CRM MME 5.8. I have written a custom app that posts customers orders directly into MMS. You need detailed knowledge of the db structure. The app also queries to see whether the customer already exists on the MMS/MME dbs, and creates one if it doesn't.

esedirect, how is the data transferred from the Web to Sage?

I used ASP with XML to match postcodes with the CRM/MMS to offer our user a list of matched companies. They could either choose a matched customer or create another. Then, either direct SQL inserts or Stored Procs to post the data into Sage.

You can, of course, use other languages, like PHP, ASP.NET or Adobe Flex to achieve the same.

esedirect, when you setup the system did all the data from the Web transfer to Sage with out any changes in SKU or any other data. Did all past orders, stock levels, client names, address etc .. transfer to Sage..
