Default Seeing sale prices in other Customer Levels

Is there a setting that will allow sale prices to be seen by customers in a higher customer level?

For example if an item is on-sale for Customer Level 0 (anonymous) can that sale price bee seen by Customer Level 1 without Defining Extended Prices for Level 1?

Not out of the box. Sale prices are hidden for customers in customer levels. If you have the source code, you can modify the logic for that in the XSLTExtensionBase.GetVariantPrice method.

Thanks, I can make that change.

As a follow-up question, can products or categories be Displayed/Hidden based on Customer Level? For example, case quantities may only be available for a certain group of customers.

Not without a little customization, however there's a lot of info in the forums here on how to do that. For example, this thread.

That works great for the interface. It looks like the database function "GetCustomerLevelPrice" will need to be modified as well. Are there other areas I need to investigate?
