Thread: Question about Coupon working

I'm trying to get the coupon function to work on Version 7.1. My client has 8 Main Categories set up with lots of subcategories beneath those. He only wants one of the subcateories to not have the coupon, so I went out and got all the numbers of all the subcategories and listed them separated by a comma in the Valid For Category(s) Only area like this:

113,127,12,13,26,27,28,29,7,94,102,101,100,99,104, 105,128,116,19,115,93,16,129,121,126,25,96,38,21,1 07,22,23,31,35,125,39,24,92,50,51,30,45,44,48,47,4 9,55,110,54,97,98

I did not include the higher level category numbers in this list, only the subcategory numbers, leaving out the number 6 subcategory that he does not want to have the discount for the products in that subcategory. I did this over an hour ago, but the website is still registering the discount for number 6 subcategory.

Any ideas about how to fix this would be really appreciated. I've spent hours trying to figure it out, and I've looked at the online manual and done this exactly how it says, but still not working....

What is the coupon type set to? That needs to be a Product level coupon, or those restrictions will be ignored.
