    Default Converting variants to full products - possible?

    Is it possible to easily convert a variant into a full product? I'm restructuring our products & there are a lot of variants that now need to be unique products...

    I'm running 7.0.2.5 sp1.

    Variant and product are stored differently in terms of information and location. I don't see any direct conversion other than to create it...

    The only way you could really do this would be to create a new product, then manually change the ProductID value of the variant in the dbo.ProductVariant table from the ProductID of the old product to the ProductID of the new product you've just created.
