Default Creating Multiple Products - Different Prices

Hello All-...hope this is the right place for this..

Im not sure I can do this (easily) so I wanted to run this by you guru's out there..

Say I have a product and want to charge $50. However, for some of my customers, I want to charge $40 for the same product. I know I can accomplish this by creating coupons..but is there any way to have the storefront use some type of identifyer and know what customer to charge $40 andwhat customer to charge $50?

I also thought of creating different customer levels and creating 2 versions of the product (version a $40 and version b $50) and just having the product appear based on what level they select, but that doesnt work because if the customer selects the wrong level they might see a higher/lower price than they are supposed to.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

I am Ramon of JairoSolutions Inc a DevNet partner, with regards to your question I could say YES, it is possible by setting a customer level and the back end/admin side set the discounted percentage of a certain price, then assign that customer level to any customer. For further information you can email me at info@jairosolutions.com or contact me with the information below.

    Many Thanks,

    Thanks.

My concern with customer levels is, if it gets out that customer level 1 is charged less than customer level 2, what is preventing the person from modifying their account and changing levels? Unless there is a way to lock that down that Im not aware of.

Normally customer levels are not at the control of the customer. Only the administrator can modify these.
