    I am using ML/Express 8.0.1.2.

    I have been up and running for about 4 months. Everything has been working beautifully.

    But last week, I noticed i was not receiving new order notifications. It just stopped. When I do the test emails from the Configuration - eMail, it all works perfect. But when someone actually places an order, I am not getting a notification.

    I have not made any changes to these settings since i set up 4-5 months ago.

    Is there a way to see why this is happening?

    Make sure your appconfig: TurnOffStoreAdminEMailNotifications was set to false.

    This value is set to false.

    I've also realized that customers are not receiving receipt emails either. However, all these tests work successfully in the Config - Email settings tests.

    Is there a log to see what is happening when it tries to send an email?

    There aren't any logs that you'd be able to see in the software, however you should be able to find any error messages on your mail server. Have you tried placing a test order to see what happens? The mailing test manager uses email addresses that are specified in the appconfig parameters so there's a chance that these are all internal (eg. on the same domain) as the mail server so there's no problem sending but the emails can't send to email addresses outside. Maybe check your mail server password to make sure it didn't expire and that you don't have to change it, and then finally check your mail server logs to see if anything points to the cause of the failure.

    I am having this exact same problem in 9.0.1.3. All emails are being sent except the receipt. It is not being sent to the customer or to admin.

    The email wizard says it sends ok, but it is not received.

    I checked the email server logs and can see that an email is not being attempted from this one. I can see the other tests, but when performing this email receipt one nothing is being logged.

    We have a working version of this on the same server for a different client without any trouble.

    I have checked all app configs and even compared them one by one to the install we have that works.

    Nothing has brought any results to get this to go.

    Any other ideas?

    I am having the same problem. It was working fine and then the notification emails just stopped going out. Anyone have any ideas?

    Heck, I'm still trying to turn my emails on. Haven't yet gotten the test to go through. Aren't there some instructions somewhere? The manual is no help.

    I am using:
    Version (Code/DB): AspDotNetStorefront ML 8.0.1.1/8.0.1.1

    Just like original post, everything was working fine now not working. All of the test work just fine send out okay:
    EMail Test and Configuration
    Receipt Email Successful
    New Order Notification Email Successful
    Shipped Email Successful

    However, when customers do place orders nothing happens. I have looked through everything and found nothing leading to why it would all of the sudden stop sending these notifications.

    Did anyone come up with a solutions for this? If so, could you please tell me what is going wrong or point me in the right direction.

    Default Customers not receiving their tracking number

    I am using Version (Code/DB): AspDotNetStorefront ML 8.0.1.4/8.0.1.4

    Just like the previous post, all tests work perfectly fine for me but about four customers a month respond stating that they never received their tracking number for their order.

    Does anyone know why the system would just stop sending the tracking number emails? Thanks.

    There could be any number of reasons why emails don't go out. I find that sometimes our customers don't even type their own email address correctly! Then you are also contending with the whole email infrastructure and anti-spamming software.

    Auto-suggest searchbox;
    Extra product information shown only to our IP Address (such as supplier info, costs, etc.);
    Failed transactions emailed via trigger;
    Custom app to show basket contents when customer online;
    Orders pushed through to accounting systems.

    All the above without source!
