    Default Uploading Site Code

    Hi

Does anybody have a solution to their website going offline whilst uploading code changes. Like a meaningful error page?

I guess you can manually take it off line and display the offline page, but thats too fiddly when a code change takes less than a few minutes.

There's not really a way to stop the application from restarting after you upload new code, that's a .NET thing. You could just set up the maintenance page in the web.config. Once you've got the maintenance page set and uploaded you can just turn the flag on or off, just a couple of seconds' work.
