Default UK compatible 'boomerang' payment gateway required

    Hi,

My client current uses SagePay Direct as their payment gateway but the server the site is hosted on isn't PCI compliant and it's not going to be. So, as SagePay Form isn't supported in ML 7.1.0.0 VB I need to know if there is an alternative payment gateway that's UK compatible and uses the 'boomerang' payment method where the card details aren't entered via my clients site.

Can anyone suggest an alternative please?

    Thanks
    Chris

Google Checkout and PayPal are the only 2 I know will definitely work there. International Checkout might.

Ok... Google Checkout isn't on the list of installed ones for ML 7.1.0.0 whereas PayPal Express is.

If I use PayPal Express do I switch off the Credit Card Payment Method?

If only there was UK based PCI compliant shared hosting for aspdotnetstorefront *sigh*

Well they are 2 different routes: credit card is for paying in your cart and PayPal Express button will take the customer to PayPal for the whole checkout...you should keep both on.

    Thanks for the reply.

I can't keep both on because the Credit Card will go via SagePay which takes the card details on the site and the hosting company isn't PCI compliant. This is why we've had to look at an alternative. I was just wondering if I unchecked the Credit Card option in the config wizard that it would only show the PayPal express payment option.

Chris, You really should get on PCI complaint/ready hosting. That is the proper solution here (sorry to be blunt).

I have recommended that to the client but they are reluctant to take that route. Their are no specialist aspdotnetstorefront hosts in the UK and they'd prefer to keep hosting support within the same time zone.

So, to repeat the question, if I uncheck the Credit Card option in the config wizard will it only show the PayPal express payment option on the site?
