    Default Sub Category Images

We have a lot of products on our site - we have many categories that do not have sub categories and many that do due to the complexity of some of the products. For the categories that do not have subs, clicking on them will show icons of all items available. For the categories that have subs, a list of the subs is shown.

I know how to enable/upload/generate images for the sub categories, but what I really want to know is if there is a way to randomly generate sub category images. If I could do that, it would save a lot of time assigning sub cat images to all of the sub cats we have.

    Can this be accomplished easily?

I'm not quite sure what you mean by randomize? Do you want random images to show every time someone hits a page with sub-categories, or did you mean automatically generate generic images for sub-categories?

I should have been more specific - if an image of any product within the subcat appeared automatically, that would be great.

To have the program pull any image from any product within the subcat is what we are looking for.

Default Set the ShowSubcatsInGrid=True and upload the image for sub category

The below link will help to show the subcategories.
