    Default Staging Deployment

    We are using ML/64 version of the software for our ecommerce site. I have the software installed and working on our dev server and I am trying to install the website on our staging environment. Our current staging server is not connected to the internet.

    On the staging server, the website works fine except that the admin/splash.aspx takes almost 5 minutes to load. I have disabled newsfeed and security feed and I have switched to table view for all the reports. Still the page takes almost 5 min to load. Is this something to do with the internet connection? All the database connections work fine.

    Is there anything that would still try to make an internet connection on that page? Does any of the chart control, telerik.charting etc used on that require any special permisson or a link to internet ?

    Any help in this regard is appreciated.

    I don't have an answer but you might try using HTTPWatch http://www.httpwatch.com/ to see what is loading and what requests are being made.
