Default Credit Card - Please I need URGENT help

We had credit cards showing on the billing part of the customers order.

We changed the Encrypt key and these are now showing as Encrypted or Not Stored.

How do I get this back? This is REALLY URGENT.

    Anyone?

Changing the encryption key directly in the web.config was the one causes the issue to occur. If you need to change it you'll have to login the admin and go to Configurations -> Maintenance -> Change Encryption key. It's a requirement to temporarily add ASP.NET OR NETWORK SERVICE a read/write/modify access permission to the {root} folder while doing this procedure and remove it back afterward.

Please make sure to make a full backup first before doing this, just in case.

    Hi

I did change the Encrption key via the Admin not in the web.config file.

I then changed the permissions to allow Netowrk Service full rights and this gave the status as "Done".

But we are still getting a lot of credit card numbers that are encrypted and some that are not. First time customers are showing the credit card numbers but returning customers are encrypted.

I saw you have a ticket open in support with this issue, we'll handle this from there. Thanks.
