    Default Corrected Contact Form

I have gotten off track trying to add some fields to the contact form and I need to re-set the form to the way it was initially because it doesn't process form contents anymore.

Which files do I need to overwrite with originals to restore the contact form so that it functions again?

There's not a file you need to overwrite for this actually, the Contact Us form is actually a topic. If you open the file you initially used to install the database and search for the ContactUs topic and overwrite the existing topic with such it will restore the original form.

I was wondering if there's a way to set some of the fields as 'required' such as the contact name and email address?

    Many Thanks

Well, the best way is to create a web form and use the required validation control. To alter your contact form to a web form perhaps this link could help you out: Full-Blown Contact Form
