    Default Manufacturers getting commisions

    Instead of purchasing products and selling them (like a typical reseller), I want to set up my storefront so that I can do profit sharing with my manufacturers. Similar to a stock photography site -- where I sell their photos and they get the commision.
    How could I integrate the storefront so that each manufacturer could login and see a report of their sales?
    I know that I can generate manufacturer specific reports already... I'm just wondering how difficult it would be to create a user system where my manufacturer could login and see their commision report themselves.

    Thanks for the reply Jao,
    I looked into this... but then I'll have to manually assign each sale to the appropriate affiliate. Many of my customers won't be coming into the store from a banner etc....so I dont have a way of automatically attaching an affiliate ID to the sale.

    Got any other suggestions?

    Also, if I create each manufacturer as an affiliate, I would run into some difficulty if a customer buys many different products from different manufacturers.

    Would it be possible to duplicate the affiliates feature/code except have it so that when a customer signs up, it creates a manufacturer instead of an affiliate? And then I could assign the manufacturers at the product level so that when the manufacturer logs in, they could see their sales?
