    Is the Customer role: Subscriber something that just needs to be initialized? Or do we need to add it to Appconfig somehow?

    Are you running ML or ML/DNN version? On ML/DNN, subscriber is a public role for portal subscriptions, customers are automatically assigned to this role when they registered.
