    Default multiple login questions

    I have been having lots of login issues with my site that seem to have to do with ssl, www redirect, and cookies. On the customer side of the site I often either can't log in or if I get logged in I get logged out when using the nextopia search. Also when adding Items to the cart, when I click add to cart, i'm directed to a empty cart page. then I go back and click add to cart again and it adds it to the cart after the sceond try. I also can't log into the admin at https://www.mydomain.com/admin, it just keeps reloading the login page. I have to remove the WWW, but then I get an ssl cert. warning that I have to ignore to proceed into the admin, which it will let me do without the www. I noticed that my SSL cert. with my host is set up under www.mydomain.com, should it just be mydomain.com without the www? I can't seem to find the right combination of app configs and the SSL domain spelling to make it all work.
