If you're using BoA through Paymentech then all the changes will be in your account with them. Otherwise, just go through the Paymentech setup steps.
We already have a Verisign Account. We need to create a new one or use the same one? We don't want to cancel Bank of America at first to make sure Chase is working smoothly for us. If that is the case, do we need 2 Versign account or just 1. Please advice. Thanks.
Currently, we use Paypal/Verisign with BoA. Now, we want to switch to Authorize.net with Chase. However, we would like to keep Verisign until Chase and Authorize.net is fully functional. Let me know if this is possible and also what changes I need to make.
Can we use both PAYFLOWPRO and Authorize.Net?
Could anyone answer my question? Thanks.
Okay, in that case, how can I test in real time to make sure the new payment gateway works fine?
That kind of testing should be done on a separate dev/staging install, you shouldn't ever try to make changes like that on a live site without previous testing. Set up a clone of the store site and change the gateways settings there and make sure you can get everything working properly, then once your testing is done migrate the changes to the live server during an off-business time.
Keep in mind that some gateways require that you register your IP address with them (don't remember if those do or not) so you may have to register both the live and test server IPs.
How do I check if SSL certificate is installed or not?
Also, do I need to have SSL in the development site in order to test?
Could anyone answer my question? Thanks.
Do I need to have SSL in the development site in order to test?
Nope, there's no need for an SSL to test an order using any Payment gateway, but we strongly advise it if you're live. So far, in your case, there's no need to worry...![]()
