Exclamation Upgrading from AspDotNetStorefront PRO v4.3.0.0

    Hi,

I has a website developed on AspDotNetStorefront PRO
    v4.3.0.0

Now I am upgrading it to the latest Version.

But I don't know how to start.

Could any one help me. where to start from.

    What I assume is:
    • Once I purchase the upgrade license.
    • Do a fresh installation in my new hosting account.
    • Backup the database in older website and import it to the new one.
    • and place the license key in the root folder of the new upgraded hosting account.
    • and close the older hosting account.

please help me in doing this.

    Thanks.

    Default

There is no direct migration path from 4.x to 8.x, that's just too far back for an upgrade script to handle. You're going to need to do a clean install of the latest version, then use one of our import features to import all of your old customer/product data.

WSI would be your best bet, though it'll take a little dev work to get it set up and to get the old data out of the old DB.

    Default Export and Import

    ok, In that case ,
    I have a question.

I will do a fresh installation in a different hosting account.
Then export my data from the older website which is already hosting.
then will that exported data can be imported to the newly installed ASPDOTNETSTOREFRONT with no issues.

Because, older one is V4.x and newer one would be ML 8.x

can any one help me for this.
