Default Hiding a product from search

    Hi

We sell products for various suppliers and some suppliers, through us, sell the same product. Is there any way that it is possible to exclude a product from a search but still have it visible on a site if someone clicks on that manufactures page?

There's nothing out of the box to exclude a product from search but still have it viewable on the front end. The only way built-in to hide a product from search is to make it Unpublished, which will hide it entirely.

You can create a product and not map it to any navigable entities so that customers don't accidentally stumble on it, but it will be on search.
