    Default Paypal questions

Under an order, what does the Reauthorize button do for PayPal payments?

Also, if a customer places an order and uses PayPal and then wants to add more items to the order, can this be done with order editing? If so, how do you handle the additional PayPal payment due?

    Thanks!

ReAuthorize button actually submits the order entry to the PayPal for account reverification. Regarding the order edition using PayPal, it would actually create a new order to the PayPal and then the same transaction rule follows. For the additional payment due, you could use the Adhoc charge for collecting additional amount.

So, would reverificaton be used if the original payment had expired?

Yes, it would use the reverification first then PayPal will sent out notification if the account is voided or authorized and ready for payment captured again. It would now depend on the merchant if the account is voided.
