Thread: Google Base with Variants

I see that the google base feed doesnt recognize variants, is this by design? Perhaps some insight into what changes I would need to make to modify it to handle variants?

Example, I may have Product A, 12", 18", 24" ... each one 12, 18 and 24 would have a separate manufacturer part number. I would want my google feed to show each of the three with each having their variant prices, mpn, weight, etc?

Is this possible and if so how difficult?

You'll have to modify the /admin/xmlpackages/feed.googlebase.xml.config file.

It's just a matter of changing up the query and modifying the output xml a bit. Fairly straight forward.
