    Default using master pages

    Hi ,

We have a ASPDNSF 8.1 version and source code. Is it possible to use master pages in this version. If yes ,will there be a large impact on the code? If no, then is there a way to add a usercontrol to the template.ascx file? I tried to but ended up with rendering error and/or the controls inside the user control doesnt fire.

    TIA.

Using master pages on that version would take a lot of code changes, but it's doable. You might consider waiting for the Ashland release, which will have built-in support for master pages and comes with documentation on converting from the old skins to master pages.
