Default Customer Data Import - Invalid Login

I just transferred the customer data from another database to aspdotnetstorefront database with saltkey as -1 and isRegistered as 1. But when i tried to login with the newly inserted data I am getting the error message as "Invalid Login".
Please give some suggestion on this why I am getting this error

Check IsActive=1, and check that the passwords in the customer table have been encrypted. If you still see them as plain text in the database, you need to touch the web.config file or run an iisreset or restart the site through your hosting control panel to force the application to restart so the passwords will encrypt.
