    Default Spec Sheet upload?

I am just starting work on a new site and things are going pretty smooth. I came across my first issue today when I tried to setup spec sheets. In the manual it states:

"To add a spec sheet to a product, create a standard .html file with the contents you want, and upload it to your site in the {root}/descriptions/productspecs folder"

Is it a simple matter of creating the file and "saving" it in the productspecs folder or is there another process for "uploading" the file similar to loading images?

You just have to create a custom html file and place it under {root}/descriptions/productspecs folder, then you go product level page, navigate to Options tab and specify the file on 'Spec Call' field (e.g. descriptions/productspecs/yourcustom.htm). Thanks for the quick response!

I changed the spec call to read:

    descriptions/productspecs/1037.htm

I have the 1037.htm file in the folder, however the storefront is displaying "page cannot be found" when I click on the link . Is there something else I should try?

There are better ways of handling specs, these days people want to search by sepcs e.t.c.

    e.g.
    http://www.louisianalighting.com/c-12-table-lamps.aspx

    and

    http://www.louisianalighting.com/p-3...aker-lamp.aspx (click on specification)

how many items do you have and have you considered WSI ?
