Default Does the license cover this?

... Or will it even work?

Dev site will be on fubar.com, but when it goes live instead of moving the files etc to another server for the live version, simply change the nameserver that point to that site to notfubar.com, the final domain name.

I know that some things would have to be changed in the Appconfig etc, but any major problems? It would essentially be the same site with a new domain.

It should work without any issue, just make sure you generate a production license under notfubar.com and drop it in the IMAGES folder (you have to remove the dev license first).

So basically just generate a fubar.com dev license, then when ready to go live replace it with the new domain and new license for notfubar.com?

Sounds simple enough, so I think that is how we will go with it, seems a lot easier than moving the whole site to a new domain.

That'll work fine if you want to do it that way, sure. We usually recommend keeping a separate staging/dev environment though, as eventually you're going to want to upgrade or make skin changes or something, and it's best to not do that directly on a live site.
