    Default Data feed to store

We are considering using ASPdotnetstorefront for our ecommerce website. However I was wondering if anyone has had any experience in connecting it to an external system to push and pull data such as pricing, product details, orders, stock levels etc. We ideally want to maintain one point of master data in our existing ERP system and use this to send and receive data to and from the online store.

Looking at the forums it would seem it is entirely possible if we map the SQL entries to our system and use XMl as communications. We would also want to set up a CRM system and have our store feed it information and receive promotions.

    Has anyone done this??

The WSI was built with just this in mind. There will be an ERPS doc coming out shortly to assist, but in the meantime you can make use of our WSI manual. The Master Doc Ref should reveal that there really is no limit to the data you can access/update/insert into the storefront database, and also some general functionality you can call through XML.
