Default New Product, Same Product Info as Old Product

I am using version AspDotNetStorefront ML 7.0.2.3/7.0.2.1

I am in product manager and essentially I want to "clone" an existing product.

The new product has a lot of the same data as an existing product and re-entering it would be cumbersome.

Is there a way to create a the new product from the old without having to re-enter or lose the old product?

The manual outlines the "Clone" button, which looks like it'll do what you need.

Since the manual was changed, this link is not working. Can someone provide a current link? I understand cloning of variants, but info on cloning products would be great.

I don't see that in the 8.0 manual.

I finally found it, the screen layout in 8.0 is totally different than that manual page, but it is listed under Variants - a little tiny text button at top right.

Can you provide a link to the page of the v8 manual you are talking about?

I never found it in the manual, this was when I was logged into to a demo site.

It was right there in front of me the whole time! In the entity tree on the left of the screen, you just click "Products" instead of an actual product and you get a list of products which can be cloned. :-)
