Thread: Kit Group Names and Choices

I was wondering if there was a way to change a kit group product name so that the product is not treated as a product but as a prompt. Complicated I know. So I would like to be able to use the same prompt style as a simple product I.E. Choose Color Choose Size.

I like this because When you go to an item it shows "Choose Size" or "Choose Color" as default.

The nice thing with this is that if you attempted to add the item to the cart without choosing an option - it wont let you. I want to be able to do this with a kit product. As it is now I enter Choose Item in the kit group page.

However the kit group treats it as a item and adds it to the cart - even if you have not selected anything.

How can I add a prompt to my kit groups so it will see Choose Item and not treat the prompt as a item and not add the product to the cart without choosing an actual item?
