    Does anyone know if the ML version supports the realtime tax calls available through the Cybersource API? If so, how are these implemented?

    I've only used the realtime tax processing from Cybersource, but have had great success with it. Its fairly easy to implement. You can find more info here:

    Sabrix wants a lot of $$ every year. Need to find an affordable company like maxmind

    Yep, the next major release will have support for the AvaTax interface It required a lot of modifications to the core to support tax providers, so integrating one in version 8.0 would be a bit difficult.

    Default AvaTax ready with release of v9

    Good afternoon and I have roughly 10 ASPDNSF end-users anxiously awaiting the AvaTax-based sales tax solution.

    v9 is taking priority of the delivery of AvaTax during the next 30 - 60 days, but ideally, ASPDNSF end-users may implement during December 2009 or early 2010.

    (I am holding-out hope for being ready sometime during the month of November 2009, but no one can/will make any promises; it will be a great surprise if it happens....)
