    Question AvaTax including shipping costs in tax calculation

    We are using ASPDNSF MultiStore 9.3 and have integrated AvaTax and are using real-time shipping. On checkout1.aspx, the tax amount from AvaTax is correct. But after the shipping method is chosen (no matter which one) and the user moves to checkoutreview.aspx, the tax has been recalculated using subtotal + shipping.

    Has anyone else seen this behavior?

    Well, I learned something. It seems that some states charge sales tax on shipping, and NY, the state where we operate from, is one of them.

    So ASPDNSF and AvaTax is calculating the total correctly.
